for the maintenance management of plant & machinery.
ProTeus is user-friendly, Internet enabled and integrated with Microsoft Office. Sold as either a stand-alone system or when networked with additional users, ProTeus provides a flexible, yet powerful tool to organize and plan all maintenance related activities, including preventive maintenance schedules, equipment records, work orders and parts inventories. With full reporting and graphing capabilities, ProTeus present data in manner to help you make informed management decisions. Standard modules include:
All modules are integrated to save time and eliminate
duplicate data entry. Optional modules include Crystal Reports Report
writer, Bar-coding, Standard Service Request, OSHA interface, Microsoft
Project, Metasys Interface, and HVAC PM Tasks Database. ProTeus Versions: ProTeus II Enterprise: Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase SQL anywhere based. ProTeus II Professional : Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase SQL anywhere based. ProTeus Expert: Sybase SQL Anywhere based. CS2 database optimization technology: ProTeus II utilizes CS2 database optimization technology making the system to run 3 to 5 times faster. Languages: ProTues is available in several languages, including English, Spanish, German, and Hungarian. ProTeus II is not only a high-powered Maintenance Management Solution, but also a solution full of features that will help you manage your maintenance departments more effectively, and efficiently.
ProTeus is always started from this main screen. Graphical icons (on the
left) are shortcut buttons to the most commonly accessed modules in ProTeus.
All modules are completely integrated, and are included in the ProTeus II
software. Other modules are accessed from the menu on the top. The bitmap
on the right can be changed to any image you desire.
The ProTeus II Equipment module allows you to maintain
accurate records of all the equipment at your plant or facility. Among
the information stored in the Equipment module is the runtime schedule,
sub-assembly tree view, Bill of Materials, and historical cost data. In
addition, eight user-defined fields are permitted. Cost histories on equipment
can be used to determine equipment productivity and total cost of ownership.
With ProTeus IIs Inventory module you can create
records for all your facilitys stocked and non-stocked inventory
items. The Inventory records include parts specifications, stock status,
physical counts, costs, quantities, reorder points, vendors/manufacturers,
plus eight user-defined fields. Gain control over your inventory by tracking
inventory movement and reducing emergency parts ordering. Quantity on
Hand and Reorder Status are automatically adjusted when parts are received
from a purchase order and when parts are used on a work order.
ProTeus II's Preventive Maintenance module allows you
to create templates for your sites repetitive maintenance tasks.
Schedule tasks to be performed at regular intervals and/or based upon
runtime (meter) data. When a piece of equipment reaches its due date (or
meter reading), a work order is automatically generated. Each PM work
order describes the task to be done, parts needed, tools required, person(s)
responsible for the work, priority, and due date.
The ProTeus II Demand Maintenance module allows you
to create templates and "one time" records for your facilitys
non-scheduled maintenance tasks. These are your emergency and general
repair work orders. Add additional information to the work order including
details of the task to be done, parts needed, tools required, person(s)
responsible for the work, priority, and due date.
ProTeus IIs calendar work order Scheduling module
allows you to view the active work order and scheduling workload by day,
week, or month. You can also narrow your view to see only those work orders
for a certain labor craft, employee, location, or asset. This "at-a-glace"
viewer makes it easy to plan equipment availability, identity available
resources, and eliminate over-scheduling. You can then adjust the workload
accordingly.
The ProTeus II Personnel module is comprised of Employee
Files and the Labor Craft files. Together, these are used to record and
maintain employee information (address, social security number, phone,
email), labor rates and labor craft codes for each maintenance worker.
Each employee is assigned a labor craft code(s), which has an associated
pay rate table. This is especially useful for the multi-tasking employee,
who performs several different functions (plumbing, electrical) which
are billed at separate rates. Regular time, overtime and double time can
also figured into the equation.
The ProTeus II Vendors module is used to record all
the information relevant to the suppliers of your equipment, tools, parts,
contracted services, or any other purchased commodity. Historical cost
and past purchases information, available parts lists, and vendor product
offerings can be found in the Vendors module.
ProTeus IIs Purchasing module allows you to
create a purchasing requisition for inventory and non-inventory items.
A requisition can also be generated directly from the reorder list. Once
approved, the requisition goes on to become a Purchase Order, which can
be printed and sent to the vendor. When the items on the PO are received,
ProTeus records these inventory levels back into the Inventory module.
ProTeus keeps a complete history of all PO transactions.
Analyze your data with ProTeus II Reports and Graphs
modules. View, edit, and print from ProTeus IIs large database of
standard reports. These reports contain such helpful information as equipment
downtime, cost histories, and labor utilization. Use ProTeus IIs
standard graphs to depict such things as equipment maintenance costs,
downtime comparisons, and total number of work orders issued. Create custom
reports and graphs using ProTeus integration with Crystal Reports
Report Writer.
